Core Awakenings Exercise and Relaxation Studio

The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Heart Association have established guidelines that include 30 minutes of moderate activity almost everyday, strength training two times per week, and flexibility and balance exercises. Make a goal for yourself to develop a physical activity plan that includes these in your daily routine. You will find moderate activity will tremendously impact so many areas of health and wellness. Regular physical activity is the closest thing to the fountain of youth.

 

Active Isolated Stretching Classes

Monday and Tuesday 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. we will meet and follow a deeply relaxing routine to increase range of motion and flexibility by isolating individual muscle groups for the legs, back, arms, and neck. Classes start with 10 minutes of Core Strength training which enhances proper stretching. Instructor will assist clients with proper position for each stretch and will provide gentle assistance. When you have assistance, you can stretch and release much farther than if you are stretching by yourself. $50.00 for 4 classes or $14 for one visit. First Visit Free!

 

Strength Training Class

Thursday 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This is a beginner’s class for those of you seeking to improve strength and tone. Class will start with a 10 minute warm up activity involving movement. We will strengthen and tone legs, arms, neck, back and abs at your own pace and fitness level.  $50.00 for 4 classes or $14 for one visit. First Visit Free!

Preparatory Homework

Print and Determine your Dosha before your appointment:

Here is a simple dosha test to help determine your dominant dosha constitution type. Simply answer all of the questions in each section and then add up your score for each dosha. Once you know your score the dosha in which you have your highest score is your dominant dosha type. If you have a similar score for two doshas that means you are dominant in both.
